At the time, I was still working in post, specifically at Digitalchroma. In that office, I ranged from editing commercials to adapting some of the “coolest” international campaigns ever. (I especially remember the PS3 launch, and the manic Nissan 4x4 “Naturally Capable” series.)

In that office, I had some vintage technology at my disposal, including CRT (an absolute kink of mine), a DigiBeta recorder, Beta, VHS and U Matic.
At that time, the company wanted to make a short video to serve as an opening for the site. By lucky coincidence, I had just bought a Perfect Grade plastic model of the Gundam RX79, which I built in my spare time. When the Gundam was finished, I only had to look at the robot, and then at the VHS, to realise that I had the idea for the video.
All that was needed to complete the work was a sound design, with effects from the robot cartoons of the time.
